The Announcement is a comedy short film produced by Black Shark Media. Written by Kevin Mears and James Kibbey, the film follows the chaos that ensues when a nervy son reveals a long-kept secret to his parents.
The film brings together a dream cast of British comedy royalty in Hugo Chegwin (People Just Do Nothing), Felicity Montagu (I’m Alan Partridge), and David Schaal (The Inbetweeners, The Office).
It was shot on location at The Boisdale, Belgravia in late January 2020 and is currently in post-production.
